Harbans LaL -1. Creating a duplicate title tag is one of the most common mistakes in SEO work. The title tag is the words or phrases, which appear at the top of the browser when the page is displayed and is what the search engines display for the first line of the site link in their results. Search engines give a lot of importance to the title tags. When more than one page displays the same title tag, the search engines discount those pages' importance.

MEDHA SHARMA -Some facets of SEO continue to wax and wane in their importance. Ditto with the various aspects of content optimization .There have been times when "content might not exactly be the king". Like in the present scene, it is incoming links on your page that are of prime significance for SEO. That doesn't devalue the content on your page. For a simple reason that is- what if the algorithms change the next day? Besides, different Search Engines are likely to put emphasis on alternating features. A consensus can be derived at on some points. These distinguished attributes can be spotlighted as:

As opposed to static (unchanging) websites that are not looking to strengthen or increase their industry share, any dynamic (changing) website will have new copy, even new strategies, on an ongoing basis. Regular, extensive, ongoing keyword research is not a luxury, but a basic survival tactic.

Jack Strawman -Introduction
Having now read five recently published books on Search Engine Optimization, along with hundreds of on-line articles and forums, I feel I know a little about this exhaustive topic. Those articles that do seem to get to the point, usually only focus on one narrow aspect of the picture. As a result, I have decided to share with you the accumulation of months of reading, neatly organized into three categories and 40 points. This list is in no way exhaustive, and it does take a bit of website knowledge to know what I'm talking about. Nevertheless, this list does provide a very solid foundation that will put you at a definite advantage over the majority of website owners. It can also be very useful as a checklist for website owners looking to improve their rankings.
